1. Who we are

FleetQuote (fleetquote.co.uk) is a trading name of Simply Quote Comparison Ltd, company number 15008284, registered office Sentinel House, Ancells Business Park, Harvest Crescent, Fleet, Hampshire, GU51 2UZ. We are the data controller for the information you give us on this website.

FleetQuote is an insurance introduction service. We are not an insurer or broker and we do not give advice.

2. The information we collect

When you send a fleet insurance enquiry, we collect:

  • Details about your fleet: number and types of vehicle.
  • Details about your business: business name, industry, postcode and how long you have traded.
  • Details about your insurance: whether you are insured, renewal month, when you need cover, an approximate premium range (optional) and the number of claims in the last three years.
  • Details about your drivers in general terms: approximate number, the youngest driver’s age range, whether you need named or any-driver cover and whether certain risk features apply (for example, that some drivers have penalty points). We do not ask for the names or licence details of individual drivers.
  • Your contact details: name, email address, phone number and preferred contact time.
  • A record of the notice you were shown and the choices you made, with the date and time.
  • Technical information: a one-way hashed version of your IP address (we do not store the IP address itself), your browser type, the page you started on and any campaign tags in the link you followed.

4. Who we share your information with

We share your enquiry with Quotezone (FCA reference 313860), which puts it to the brokers and insurers on its panel so they can contact you about fleet insurance. We use service providers who process information on our behalf, under contract:
