Editorial standards
Fleet insurance content is full of unsourced figures and vague promises. Here is how we do it differently.
-
Sourced, not guessed
Legal duties, thresholds and timescales are checked against official sources such as GOV.UK, legislation.gov.uk, the Motor Insurers’ Bureau and the HSE, and those sources are listed on the page.
-
No invented numbers
We don’t publish premium figures, savings percentages or statistics we can’t source. Where insurer practice varies, we say so.
-
Information, not advice
Our guides explain how fleet insurance generally works in the UK. Decisions about cover for your business should be made with an authorised broker.
-
Reviewed and dated
Every page shows when it was last reviewed and keeps a visible update history, so you can see what changed.
-
Independent of commercial deals
How we are paid for introductions does not change what our guides say. We explain when a fleet policy may not be the right option.
